Did you slip up on your diet and exercise plan? We can be our worst critic when it comes to getting off-track. So, pretend it’s a friend who slipped up, and you are upset with them! Write a note to them, then read it out loud to yourself. Most people have kinder words to say to others than to themselves, so I think the note you write to “your friend” would be nicer than what you’re thinking about yourself inside your head.
