AdvoCare Fiber is a dietary fiber supplement that delivers the fiber your body needs to work at its best.* Each serving provides 10 grams of dietary fiber, which can help you reach your daily fiber goal. According to the Institute of Medicine, women need 25 grams and men need 38 grams of fiber each day. Each serving of AdvoCare fiber provides a combination of soluble and insoluble fiber. Soluble fiber absorbs water in your stomach and intestines, which provides a feeling of fullness that helps curb your appetite.*

Eating more plant foods — vegetables, beans, fruit, whole grains, and nuts — is the best way and is one of the recommendations from the U.S. government’s 2015 Dietary Guidelines.
I survived working at Costco yesterday! I’m off again today–Labor Day is a week from today, and Costco is closed, so lots of employees have requested the weekend off. I did not, so therefore, I have to work this whole weekend. I am going to spend some quality time with Glenn, my husband.
I awoke this morning at 5:30, did a morning Bible reading, and worked out at the gym (upper body). I arrived home, and Glenn took me to breakfast at Cracker Barrel. The most unhealthy thing I ate was a blueberry muffin! After we got home, I decided to jog with my dogs, Lucy and Allie for half an hour.
Lucy is a Belgian Malinois, and Allie is a Lab mix. They are two years old and love to jog! I give credit to my AdvoCare products in being able to keep up with them, along with everything else I have going on in my life. I have not been able to jog at a decent pace for a very long time (since my Army days), and I am so proud of that!
Sundays used to be a day to go to church and spend some time with the family–those days are long gone, I’m afraid. I work for Costco Wholesale, and I am working today (Sunday, August 28). The shoppers on Sundays are not the most friendly crowd during the week. The store is crowded and people can get irritable and demanding!
I take Clear Mood by AdvoCare to help me deal with days like today.
Clear Mood is a multi-nutrient dietary supplement that helps ease brain and nerve cell function by providing important neurotransmitters that assist in lowering the effects of occasional stress, nervousness, and worry.* One of the agents, known as 5-HTP, is vital for the production of serotonin, which supports the brain and nervous system.*

So, if you happen to be shopping at your local Costco today, please be nice to the people who work there. You never know what they might be going through.
It is an electrolyte replacement drink mix that provides the necessary nutrients to maintain proper metabolism, delay the onset of fatigue, and hydrate your body by re-establishing your electrolyte balance. Rehydrate has a 1:1 ratio of sodium and potassium, two of the most vital electrolytes that are lost when we sweat.
Also, compared to Gatorade (34 g sugar) and Gatorade G2 (12 g sugar), Rehydrate has only 6 g sugar!
Comes in Key Lime Cherry, Red Raspberry, Fruit Punch, and Mango Pineapple!

This is my husband Glenn and I on July 4, 2016. I just want to say that I am so proud of him for doing a 24-Day Challenge and losing 11 pounds and 2 inches around his waist! I have gone down five pounds since this photo was taken.
Glenn helped me quit smoking back in October 1995, so I am repaying the favor by helping him lose the weight he needs in order to not just look better, but feel better, too. He just got started, and needs to lose at least six more inches around the waist, but I know with me helping him out, he will get there. I still need to lose about four inches in my waist to get down to the size I want.
If you are interested in a starting point, I recommend any of AdvoCare’s MNS (Metatabolic Nutrition System) systems. There’s MNS C for appetite control, MNS E for more energy, and MNS 3 for a combination of the two. Let me know if you have any questions!
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,
I must remember this today! I have a full time job with Costco Wholesale, and yesterday wasn’t a good day. We are approaching the end of Costco’s fiscal year (ends August 31), and upper management always (for the last 4 years) has cut hours. This has something to do with their bonus check that they get based upon the profitability of the store.
We have trained some new employees in my department. They were cut yesterday, because my department manager was told to cut hours. Since they were cut, me and the other full time employees had to bear the weight of Saturday shoppers at a very busy Costco store. I had to stand outside in Texas heat and humidity to inform people of our new Visa card partnership with Citi Bank. I was a sweaty and grumpy mess. When one of the managers asked me to approach more people, I got very upset. I didn’t say much, because I know when to hold my tongue.
Anyway, to make a long story short, I spent the rest of my shift being angry with upper management for worrying too much about their bonus check and not enough about the welfare of their employees. That is why I’m really trying to make a go with my AdvoCare business–I would like to be able to eventually step away from Costco and set my own schedule and not get upset on how things are being run.
I also need to pray for my management team at Costco and remember that I need to do my job as if I am working for the Lord, and not these greedy men (women, too).
