The Redwines’ Story-Building a Dream Team

All it took for Milton Redwine was to try his first Spark.  He heard about AdvoCare at the gym while he and Chelsea were working out.  He was excited about the opportunity, but Chelsea was hesitant. She said AdvoCare sounded great, but they couldn’t afford Spark.

Both Milton and Chelsea worked nights and weekends to pay the bills and support their three-year-old daughter.  Their mentor suggested they share the products with others and earn enough money to pay for their own products.  Eighteen days and three mixers(small group meetings) later, they earned enough to purchase two 24-Day Challenges and began the Challenge right away. Together they lost 35 pounds in the first 60 days with the help of AdvoCare products and lifestyle changes.

The Redwines quickly saw a vision to earn extra money, but saw more than that after attending meetings and business trainings.  They set up three-way conference calls and began hosting one to three mixers per week, both for newcomers and alongside Advisors on their team, to promote their AdvoCare brand.  They also met regularly with their mentors to set a business strategy, which they still do today.

By eliminating distractions, prioritizing personal growth and always focusing on helping newcomers find the right products for their lifestyle, the couple continues to grow heir eam and have been able to leave heir full-time jobs.  They now have two little girls to keep them busy, and Chelsea and Milton are taking in every moment as it comes.

Over the Counter Pain Medications

My husband just had some lab work done last week, and we found out that he had high protein counts in his urine and his liver enzymes were high.  He hardly ever drinks, so we know that alcohol was not a factor in his liver damage.  He takes Advil at night, and we discovered that that could have an effect on the liver.  Here are some other side effects on over the counter pain medications:

  • Acetaminophen (Tylenol)
    • Nausea
    • Rash
    • Liver Damage
  • Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (such as Advil, Aleve, and Motrin)
    • Stomach upset
    • Heartburn
    • Nausea
    • Stomach Ulcers
    • Kidney Damage
    • Allergic Reaction
    • Liver Damage
    • Increased Risk of Heart Attack and Stroke

No one younger than 20 should take aspirin.  It has been linked to Reye Syndrome, a very serious illness. It causes swelling in the liver and brain.

Some safe alternatives to over the counter pain medications are:

  • Ginger is an anti-inflammatory.
  • Tumeric is an anti-inflammatory and can help reduce the risk of cancer.
  • Capsaicin is derived from chili peppers and is a topical remedy that reduces nerve, muscle and joint pain.
  • Valerian root helps relieve insomnia, tension, irritability, stress, and anxiety.
  • Magnesium can help curb the pain of migraines, muscle spasms and fibromyalgia.
  • Cat’s Claw is known for containing an anti-inflammatory agent that aids in blocking the production of the hormone prostaglandin, which contributes to inflammation and pain within the body.
  • Boswellia contains active components like resin that reduce inflammation and pain.
  • White willow bark is the original aspirin.
  • Essential oils such as chamomile, lavender, and sage help relax muscles and calm the mind.

I am an Advisor with AdvoCare, and an advocate for wellness.  Our country consumes 70% of prescription medications in the world, and we only count for approximately 5% of the world.  We have a serious prescription epidemic and it needs to stop!

Finding My Rhythm

Well, it’s been almost two years since I was introduced to Spark and began my journey with AdvoCare.  I have worked for Costco Wholesale for over seven years as a front end assistant, cashier, membership assistant, marketer, refunds clerk, and now I pick and pack packages for Google Express.  Costco has teamed up with Google to provide shopping for non-perishable items that can be sent to your location.  Sometimes these items can get very heavy, and I have to lift these onto a belt and onto the truck.  I will be 50 in six months, so this is very strenuous work.  I see a chiropractor on a regular basis, because I want to stay fit and active.  I really have begun to enjoy running!

I am an early riser, and Spark has really helped me improve my energy levels.  I run about 15-20 miles a week with my trusty side-kick, Lucy, who is my three-year-old Belgian Malinois.18700648_10159242254500355_2664371785321127866_o

I have tried many products over the last two years, and Spark has been my mainstay, but I have a few other favorites as well:  Arginine Extreme, Rehydrate, Catalyst, Probiotic Restore Ultra, Nighttime Recovery, Post Workout Recovery, OmegaPlex, O2 Gold, and Metabolic Nutrition System (MNS).

I have my moments in which I ache, mainly from my job, but I stay focused on drinking plenty of water, eating right, exercising, and taking AdvoCare products.  These products have really changed my life, and they have helped me touch other lives too!

I have a new goal, and that is to touch more people by sharing these products with them, and I want to run a 10K in September.  I have a few 5Ks under my belt, and I know I have a 10K in me!  Let me know if I can help you in any way!

Spark Energy Compared to Starbucks, Coca-Cola, and Red Bull

AdvoCare’s Spark Energy is still one of the most popular things that AdvoCare distributors sell.  There is plenty of reasons:  it’s great tasting, improves energy, improves mental focus, and it’s healthy!!!  Spark only has 45 calories, along with 21 vitamins and minerals and will do more for you physically than coffee shop drinks, soda, and other energy drinks such as Monster and Red Bull.  It comes in 10 different flavors:  Cherry, Blue Raspberry, Fruit Punch, Watermelon, Limeade, Pink Lemonade, Green Apple, Mandarin Orange, Mango Strawberry, and Grape.

You may buy full retail, become a preferred customer and get a discount, become a distributor and get a discount, plus earn extra money by selling products to others, or become an advisor and earn income five different ways with AdvoCare.

God bless you and enjoy your Sunday!

Nanea Marcial

Nanea is a relentless role model who says that it’s easy to lose track of tasks like what you’re eating, staying active enough, especially when life events get in the way.  That’s how she felt over 3 years ago, when she was going through a divorce and taking care of her newborn baby and two-year old son.  Wearing a size 14, Nanea didn’t feel like herself and needed a positive outlet.

My friend, Joette, told me about this 24-Day Challenge.  I was always slim growing up–she had never seen me this way, with a broken spirit and wearing a size 14.

Nanea was addicted to coffee, and drank too much of it for years.  After 24 days, she improved her diet, reduced her coffee intake, and dropped two sizes.  Shortly after her initial success, she continued working out but lost some momentum with her diet.

She began another 24-Day Challenge a couple of years later, knowing she needed more than just a workout regimen.  She kicked her coffee habit and replaced it with Spark.  She dropped another two sizes by continuously working out, eating three portioned meals and three small snacks a day.  She also cut out fried food and dairy.

She also increased the intensity of her workouts by exercising five days a week, competing in multiple Spartan races and 5ks and doing yoga on the weekends.  She continues to build lean muscle and has maintained a size six for over a year and a half with the help of Catalyst, Muscle Strength, and Post-Workout Recovery.

AdvoCare’s New Fit Line!

Hi there! Just finished up with AdvoCare’s National Success School 2017, and I wanted to write about AdvoCare’s latest product line called FIT.  These products will help you take the guesswork out of what to use before, during, and after you work out!

I received my FIT Pack today.  This is what I received:

img-pre.fafc2c8d648f126b2395fc962ecc1e84You use this 30-45 minutes prior to a workout.  This strawberry lemonade flavor is 20 calories and only 3g of sugar per stick pack. AdvoCare has used Stevia, not sucralose, for sweetening, and the caffeine derives from green tea, so this is more for people going to a plant-based diet.

img-intra.c3864b113a2dd73c3c0a2dc1d317b158This comes in a coconut lime flavor (yum) and is to be used while you’re working out.  This is 15 calories per stick pack, with only 2g of sugar.  One of the ingredients is coconut water powder, and, like the Pre-Workout, Stevia is used to sweeten.

img-post-chocolate.471ffa6e8091eb9f8fa864b492768ba0The Post-Workout Protein and Herbal Supplement comes in two flavors:  chocolate and cinnamon bun. I am a little burned out on chocolate, so I chose the cinnamon bun flavor!  You use this within one hour after a workout.  It can also benefit greatly in long-term recovery when consumed in the evening. This does contain milk, so I wouldn’t recommend this for those who are lactose intolerant.  One pouch is 100 calories and 3g of sugar, and contains Stevia also.

If you buy the bundle, it’s a total cost of $99, plus shipping and tax.  While supplies last you get a FREE cinch bag!  I will be trying these products after I am done with the cleansing portion of my Slim Down challenge, in one week.  I will inform you of what I think then!

Being a Role Model

It’s very easy to lose track of what you’re eating, how much activity you are involved in, etc.  That was me a few years ago, before I got involved with AdvoCare.  I had to deal with a very difficult manager, and I was stressed out dealing with my then teenage daughter.  I drank to deal with the stress, and that, along with eating too much sugar and drinking too much coffee, caused me to balloon up to a size 14.

My friends, Danny and Pamela Mears, introduced me to AdvoCare and told me about the 24-Day Challenge.  I knew I couldn’t continue on the way I was going, and AdvoCare does offer a money-back guarantee, so I decided to take the plunge.  My husband did it too for the support.  After 24 days, my diet improved, I stopped drinking alcohol, dropped down to one cup of coffee a day, and cut out the sugar.  I lost 8 pounds and 11 inches!  I felt so much better and was able to work out more now that I had gotten some of that weight off.  I continued eating healthier and working out.  This was August 2015.

I continued doing 24-Day Challenges every 90-120 days so my weight could keep dropping.  I had never been this big before, so I knew I wanted to get back into at least a size 8.  I still drink coffee, but I drink more Spark than I do coffee (one in the morning and one mid-afternoon).  I also eat 3 balanced meals a day and about 2-3 snacks a day. I eliminated fried and processed food, too.  I can’t hardly stand the yucky feeling I get when I eat fried or processed food anymore!  It’s not worth it.

I now work out 5-6 days a week, have competed in a few 5Ks and am working on building up to a 10K.  I run 4 days a week and do weight training 2 days a week.  I have improved my endurance and strength and have maintained a size 8 for a year now.  I think those are great accomplishments for a 49 year old woman!  My favorite products are Spark, Catalyst, O2 Gold, and L-Arginine Extreme.

I am doing things now that I haven’t done since I was in the Army, which was over 30 years ago.  Not only am I back in shape, but I have my spirit back and have hope.  I have regained control and can be a good role model to others.

Overall, I give God the glory, because He is the One who gave me the strength during my times of weakness.  I can be joyful in my heart because I know He is the One in charge!  Amen.

Underweight? AdvoCare can Help!

Lauren Kirschblum is now a bubbly, vivacious young lady who will talk to anyone.  In 2013, she was underweight and struggled with body issues and self-confidence.

She started using Spark Energy to help her get through the day.  That extra boost helped get her back into the weight room, where she worked on gaining the lean muscle she was lacking.  After 18 months, Lauren had put on 25 pounds, including muscle, and started feeling like herself again. That’s when she heard about AdvoCare’s business opportunity and decided to try it.

I slowly started gaining confidence and realized I’m not just a number on the scale.  I knew if I could go from being underweight to a happy and healthy girl, I could help others.

Throughout the next year, she was intentional with growing her brand and focused on gaining the confidence to lead others.

In the beginning, I didn’t have any confidence and I realized no one was going to follow me that way–I needed to portray confidence to inspire others.  I practiced it so much that I eventually became that person.

Lauren set long and short-term goals to achieve her bigger vision:  she introduced herself to three new people every day, scheduled five three-way conference calls a week and even started 24-Day Challenge Groups every two months to introduce the products.

She spends her time hosting team events so everyone can get to know each other.  On any given day, she will gather teammates for a hike or go out to dinner with them.

Lauren now focuses on AdvoCare full time and explains her day-to-day in seven simple words:  “I make other people’s purposes my purpose.”
